Cemetery is on right about 1-2 miles down the road. Cemetery is fenced in and has a locked gate (caretaker lives in house on same side just before cemetery and can grant access). There is generally only room enough to park one car unless the gate is unlocked/open. This is a small cemetery. This cemetery has suffered from much vandalism and neglect in the past. The back section of the cemetery is grown over, and many of the graves are sunken in. Many markers are down, including one rather large that is face down and therefore unreadable. Several markers are field stone with rough hand lettering, some unreadable. Often the graves have sunken in, including some more modern ones. Many graves are unmarked, some undoubtedly due to theft and vandalism. The fencing of this cemetery has greatly reduced damage in recent years. The oldest marked burial is from 1875. The newest is from 1974. The cemetery has less than 100 burials The cemetery is across the road from the site of the old Bethel Union Presbyterian Church. The church has been gone a number of years now. LISTING: LAST FIRST BIRTH DEATH REMARKS ?
