Esham, a hghly respected citzen, dropped dead Friday evening about 2 0'clock at his yard gate, from heart trouble. He was born in Lewis county, Feb 1, 1834, and died Sept. 22, 1906, aged 72 years, seven months and 22 days. He was a kind father and loving husband. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn after him, besides a number of friends who will be sorry to hear of his death. He was united in marriage, March 10th, 1861 to Miss Mary Thomas. Rev. Ripatoe coducted the funeral services, he was laid to rest in the McEldowny cemetery.
