Subject: [KYF] DEED: Hazel to Dyer, 1894, Union Co -------------------------------------------------- DEED: Hazel to Dyer, 1894, Union Co Union County Court Books, Book # __ , pg. 455-456 This deed of conveyance made and entered into this the 21st day of August 1894 by and between R. M. Hazel and Virginia A. Hazel, his wife of the first part and N. P. Dyer of the second part all of the County of Union State of Kentucky. Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said first party's does by those presents grant bargain sell and convey until the said second party a certain lot or parcel of ground in Union County, Ky in the town of Sturgis and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone on the north side of Providence Road thence North 15 15 E 350 feet to a stake corner to the Cumberland Iron Land Company land, thence along said company's line North 75 30 West 250 feet to a stake in the middle of the Morganfield and Marion road original corner of the Smallwood property and the Casey tract, thence along said road South 5 45 West 75 feet to a stake in the middle of said road thence South 75 31 East 137 feet to a stake thence south 12 30 West 178 feet to a stake thence south 12 30 west 178 feet to a stone in the north side of the Providence Road, thence S 74 30 East 76 feet to the beginning being the same land conveyed by Jus. M. Waggener commissioner of the Union Circuit Court in case of Richard James vs Jno. Smallwood executors to S. F. Lawson and recorded in said Book 45 page 98 of the Union County Court clerk's office and also the same book conveyed by S. F. Lawson wife of J. W. Lawson to R. M. Hazel except a piece or parcel of land conveyed by R. M. Hazel wife to Peter Stone (col) which is bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone in the Caseyville and Providence Road thence East with said road 79 feet to a stone in said road close to a hackberry tree thence west 87 feet to a stone close to a hackberry tree thence South 178 feet to the beginning corner. To have and to hold unto the said W. P. Dyer his heirs assigns and representatives with clause of General Warrant of with together with __ the apprentinances thento belongint.
