Nicholas Co., KY bond extracts


In a small "bond" book in the Historical Society of Nicholas Co., KY in
Carlisle is the following;

Some of the names are hard to read. Jd<><


I rec'd the 22 of may 1852 on one  negro man Frank the property of Thomas I
Fields of the value of Four hundred dollars
Now I Thomas I Fields principal & Stanley Moor Security do bind our Selves
that Said boy Shall be fourth coming at the house of Stanly Moore on the 5th
day of June 1852 by the hour of 12 Oclock of Said day as wit our hands this
day of date above written              Standley Moore
The above bond to be continued to the `5th of June 1852          Standley

Rec'd of John Clay S, N. C. Seventy four dollars & Sixty five cents on an
Executions in his hands from the Nicholas Circuit Court in favor of James
Shaunon ? and against Nathaniel Banister    November 24th 1862

Rec'd of John Clay S. N. C. one hundred Dollars on an executive in favor of
G. C. Fain is Berry Payne & Perin McVey from the Nicholas Circuit Court. Nov
