"Louise Howlett Dunbar, age 66, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, March 8, 1982, at her home following a long illness. Mrs. Dunbar was retired as a steno-clerk after 30 years with L & N Railroad and a member of the First Baptist Church in Jamestown. Born January 9, 1916, in Shelby County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Mary Tinney Smith. Her first husband, David Howlett, preceded her in death on May 27, 1952. Survivors include her husband, Wallace C. Dunbar; one child, Mrs. Bob (Glenda) Flowers, Louisville; two grandchildren; one brother, Mr. O. E. Smith, Louisville. Local services were held Tuesday night, March 9, 1982, at 7:30 PM at the Rippetoe Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. C. E. Hansford officiating. Funeral services in Louisville, Kentucky, will be Thursday, March 11, 1982, at 2:30 PM (EST) at the Arch L. Heady & Sons Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, with Bro. Enlow officiating.
