A native of Jessamine County, she was born November 11, 1916, the daughter of the late Jasper and Texie Cobb Mulcahy. She was retired from Montgomery Wards and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Jerry Lane Miller, of Nicholasville; one son-in-law, James Patrick; three grandchildren, Stacy Lane Wheeler, Tracey R. Miller and Melissa Ann Patrick and one great-grandchild, Clayton Scott Lyons. Other than her parents, those who preceded her in death was one daughter, Darlene Patrick. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Mulcahy officiating. She was born October 15, 1921, in Johnson County, daughter of the late Warren and Mary (James) Blanton. She was married to Mitchell Watson, who preceded her in death in 1980. She was founder and a member of Living Waters Church of God. Survivors include one son, Aaron (Anita) Watson, of Plain City, Ohio; two daughters, Juliana (Henry) Smith, of Columbus, Ohio and Edith Houston, of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Mary Alice Pharis, of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Those preceding her in death other than her parents and husband were one son, Eric Watson; two brothers, Sam Blanton and Scott Blanton; and one granddaughter, Ashley Green. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 24, at Living Waters Church of God, with Jasper G. Marcum officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Grove Cemetery, with Ferguson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
