KY-FOOTSTEPS-D Digest 20 Mar 2001 Volume 01 : Issue 43 ______________________________X-Message: #1 Date: Mon, 19 Mar 2001 21:59:28 -0800 From: "Phyllis Hill" Subject: OBIT: Caroline Collins, 1861, Kenton Co Obituary of Caroline "Carrie" Collins, daughter of Dr. Richard and Susan Dell Scott Collins: Submitted 13 March 2001 by: Buddy & Linda Harbin Grubbs lharbing@worldnet.att.net Covington Journal, dated 28 September, 1861, page 2: DIED: At Carrollton, Ky. on the 20th inst. of consumption, Miss Carrie, daughter of Dr. Richard Collins. Cut off thus early in life, in the midst of usefulness, she has left a void that neither time nor space can ever fill. Possessed of a kind and genial disposition, a Christian heart, and highly inundated intellect, she made home attractive, and was the pride and joy of every circle. From early youth her firm dependence has been upon the arm of the Almighty , and during her last illness which she bore with more than Christian fortitude, her sole consolation was that she would be asleep in Jesus. She leaves a large circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn her loss. ______________________________X-Message: #2 Date: Mon, 19 Mar 2001 22:01:24 -0800 From: "Phyllis Hill" Subject: OBIT: Mary Collins Wood, 1883, Kenton Co Obituary of Mary Collins Wood: Submitted 13 March 2001 by: Buddy & Linda Harbin Grubbs lharbing@worldnet.att.net Covington Journal, dated 09 October 1883, page 4: DIED WOOD.....at 4:20 p. m. , October 8th, 1883, Mary C.
