The funeral service was held Saturday and she was laid to rest in Providence burying ground. Rev. W. F. Cleland, her pastor, was absent in Chicago and the service conducted by Rev. M. V. P. Yeaman. She was a woman of fine Christian character and deeply beloved by all who knew her. Her death is double sad, being but a week later than the death of her mother, Mrs. Lucy Davis. She was a widow and leaves several children. She was 25 years of age, and leaves a father to mourn the loss of a daughter, and one small child who cannot realize the loss of a mother's love or a mother's care. Services were held at the Christian church (Cornishville) Saturday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery.
