PENNINGTON  Velmar ""Pete''. Beloved husband of the late Pat
Pennington (nee Whitaker), devoted father of Jerry Lee Pennington,
Mark (Robin) Wright, Tim (Babette) Pennington, Sue (Bob) Follick and
Jenny (Steve) Linz. Dear brother of Marvin and Velma Pennington, Pat
Myers and the late Sherrill, Preston and Helen Pennington. Also
survived by several grandchildren. Sunday, January 7, 2001, age 75,
resident of West Chester. Visitation at Schmidt-Dhonau Funeral Home,
10980 Reading Rd., Sharonville, Tuesday, January 9 from 6-8 P.M.
Graveside services will be Thursday in Casey County, Kentucky.
Memorials requested to Paul Vail VFW Post.

Bernice LITZKOW
(Jackson, MS)

Bernice Litzkow, 88, formerly of Wildwood Terrace, died Wednesday,
February
6, 2002, at Spanish Oaks Retreat in Savannah, Georgia. Visitation is
5-7 p.m
 today and 1-3 p.m. Saturday. Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at
Baldwin-Lee
Chapel in Jackson with burial in Lakewood South.

A native of Graves County, Kentucky, she had lived in Savannah,
Georgia for
the past five years. Prior to that she had lived in Jackson for 34
years.
Mrs. Litzkow was a member of Siwell Road Church of Christ. She was a
retired
secretary having worked for Grief Brothers Forestry Managment Company
for a
number of years. She was the widow of the late Mr. Raymond Litzkow.

Mrs. Litzkow is survived by her sons, David Litzkow of Carmel,
Indiana, Elwood Litzkow of Ballwin, Missouri; daughter Shirley Griffin
of Savannah, Georgia; brothers, Rupert Warren of Hickory, KY., Will Ed
Warren of Searcy, Arkansas; sister Virginia Pope of San Fernando, CA.,
10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
