Thomas M. Stone - Simpson Co., KY Funeral services for Thomas M. Stone, who died Tuesday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the North Middletown Christian church. The Rev. Fred I. Gardner, pastor and the Rev. F. M. Tinder of Paris will officiate and burial will be in the North Middletown cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edd Arnold, Arlen McCall, Charley Turner, Tommy Hunt, Logan Bryan and Sherman Lathram. Jesse R. Sutherland - Woodford Co., KY VERSAILLES, Ky., March 7 (Special) -- Jesse Richard Sutherland, 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Sutherland, of Route 2, Versailles, died at 8:45 a.m. today at the Woodford Memorial hospital from a heart condition which resulted from rheumatic fever suffered last fall. Besides his parents, the youth is survived by two sisters, Misses Lula D. and Gertie Macey Sutherland, both of Woodford county; four brothers, Pvt. Lois Turl Sutherland, U. S. Army in France, and William, John Wesley and Kenneth Lee Sutherland, all of Woodford county, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dessie Manley, Versailles, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the grave in the Versailles cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Enlow, pastor of the Clover Bottom Baptist church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Albert Manley, Chris Manley, Wilbur Sutherland Jr., Sam Flora, Arthur Flora and James Todd. The body is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Sutherland, 251 Macey avenue. Robert P. Smith - Franklin Co., KY FRANKFORT Ky., March 7--- Robert Pepper Smith, 38, for many years an employee of the State Highway Department, died Tuesday at St. Joseph infirmary, Louisville. He was a son of the late Col. Thomas L. Smith and a grandson of the late Robert P. Pepper, noted trotting horse breeder. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marion M. Smith; his mother, who lives in Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. John N. Crutcher and Mrs. E. B. Kennedy, Frankfort, and Mrs. Victor F. Williams, Louisville, and a brother, Thomas L. Smith Sr., Washington. Funeral services will be held here at 11 a. m, Thursday. James F. Sargent - Scott Co., KY GEORGETOWN, Ky., March 7 (Special)-- James Floyd Sargent, 65, Scott county farmer, died at 11 a. m. today at his home on the Georgetown-Paris road after an illness of 14 months. He was a son of the late D. B. and Susan Frank Sargent, of Owen county, and was a member of the Centerville Methodist church. Mr. Sargent is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lurlie C. Wynn Sargent; three daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Garrison, Scott county, Mrs. Clay Sosby, Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Zellie McCord, Marion, Ind., one son Floyd Sargent, Georgetown; one sister, Mrs. Ella Wilson, Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; three brothers, Ora Sargent, Georgetown, William Sargent, Scott county, and Claude Sargent, Anderson, Ind.; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Centerville Methodist church. The Rev. T. S. Lacks, minister of the Ravenna Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Wooten, minister of the Centerville Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Georgetown cemetery. Willie Harry Ross - Clark Co., KY WINCHESTER, Ky., March 7 (Special)-- Funeral services for Willie Harry Ross, 17, who was killed instantly Tuesday afternoon by a freight train, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Murphy's Fork cemetery, Morgan county. The body is at the home of his mother here. Mrs. Jennie C. Wolf - Boyle Co., KY DANVILLE, Ky., March 7 (Special) Mrs. Jennie C. Wolf, formerly of Danville, died yesterday in Milford, Ohio, it was learned here this morning. Funeral and burial services will be held here at 3 p.m. Thursday at the grave in Bellevue cemetery. Leslie C. Walters - Boyle Co., KY DANVILLE, Ky., March 7 (Special)-- Leslie C. Walters, 83, died at 5:30 a.m. today at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. J. J. Isham of near Parksville. Mr. Walters was a member of the First Baptist church of Danville. Before his retirement, he was an employee of the Southern Railway System in Danville. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard Webb, Parksville; a son, Maurice J. Walters, Danville, four grandchildren, Marshal Isham, with United States Marines at Oceanside, Calif., Miss Lillian Isham, Parksville, John C. Walters, Danville, and Maurice J. Walters, Louisville, a sister, Mrs. Sarah Yarnall, and a brother, A. J. Walters, both of Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the residence of Mrs. Webb on Lebanon road. The Rev. Wayne E. Todd, pastor of First Baptist church, will officiate.: Burial will be at McDonald center.
