Watkins and Miss Bessie B. Bourne were married in Lexington Wednesday. The young lady had been teaching out of the State and Mr. Watkins met her in the blue-grass capital, where the knot was tied. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bourne, who reside out on the Somerset pike, and is a pretty, pleasing, and accomplished young woman. She has made quite a success in her line of work -- teaching. The groom is a cousin of Robert C. Watkins, and makes his home with him near Maywood. The cousins are so inseparable that many have thought they were brothers. He is a fine young man, an officer in the Christian church of this city, a successful farmer and a nice gentleman. Mr. and Mrs. Watkins will make their home for the present with Dr. and Mrs. W. F. Watkins, where the best wishes of their many friends, including their old home paper, will always be with them. _____________________________X-Message: #2 ------------------------------------------------------------- Submitted by E-mail Registry submittor Kim Sloan Date: Friday, August 16, 2002 11:52 AM Subject: [KYF] OBIT: Justice, 2002, Pike Co -------------------------------------------------------------- The Lorain Morning Journal Friday, August 16, 2002 JOAN RITA COLEMAN Lorain--Joan Rita Coleman (nee Justice), 59, of Lorain, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
