He was a member of South Fork Baptist Church and a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Polston Wheeler, Routs 2, Magnolia; Four daughters, Dorothy Wilson and June Wildon, both of Louisville, Jo Ann Childress, Hodgenville, and Wanda Childress, Magnolia; three step-daughters, Mary Logsdon, Canmer, Minnie Walsh, Magnolia, and Lillian Ragland, Upton; three sisters, Lula constant, Indiana, Alma Harris, Louisville, and Minnie Walters, Magnolia; two brothers, charles Wheeler, Louisville, and Ray wheeler, Elizabethtown; a half-brother, Harvey Wheeler, Louisivlle. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Stearman Funeral Home in Munfordville with the Reverends Lonnie Sheets and Howard Srygler officiating. She was a native of Hart County, a member of the Munfordville church of Christ and the daughter of the late Jeff Polston and Leetha Skaggs Polston. Her husband was the late Otis Ward. She is survived by two sons, Garland and chester Logsdon, both of Munfordville; six sisters, Mitchell Butler, Magnolia; Ava Childress and Olie Philpott both of Bonnieville; Cora Butler, Radcliff; Betty Beeler, Hodgenville; Charlotte Philpott, Horse Cave.
