He had been in failing health nearly five years. Beck was a lifelong resident of Kenton-co and was widely known. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Theresa Beck; five sons, John H., Chris, Joseph, Frank and Leo Beck, all of Kenton-co and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services for Beck will be held Monday, with requiem high mass at 9 am at St. Cecilia Church, Independence. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery. Samuel White Funeral Services for Samuel White of Persimmon Grove, who died Thursday at his home following a lingering illness, will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Persimmon Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be at Persimmon Grove. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Alice White; one son Percy White of Richmond; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Hale, Mrs. Grace Wilke, and Mrs. nellie Lyons, and eight grandchildren. Leonard Crawford Funeral services for Leonard Crawford, 51, former Newport garage owner, will be held Monday at 2 pm at the Vonderhaar & Stetter funeral home, Third and Overland streets, Newport, and Mrs. Hazel Townsley, Dayton. Samuel Morning Samuel Morning, 52, mill worker, died Friday at his residence, 507 York St, Newport. He is survived by a brother Edward Morning and a grandaughter, Mrs Catherine Ernst. Funeral services will bw held Monday at 10:30 am at the JJ Radel Co, funeral home with Rev Paul Reikow officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Rankin Hill Rankin Hill, 31, died Friday at the home of his mother, Mrs. ALice Ferndon, 32 W 13th-st, Newport, Funeral Services will be held Monday at the J J Radel Co Funeral home, 822 York-st Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
