Born May 16, 1934, in Danville, he was a son of the late Claude R. and Rachel Hughes Hill. He was a graduate of Danville High School and was a graduate of Chattanooga State Technical College. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in Chattanooga. He was a Air Force staff sergeant during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Donna Evans Hill; a daughter, Katherine Cramer; a son, Kerry J. Hill of Soddy/Daisy; a brother, Donald A. Hill of Danville; two sisters, Nancy Goodlett of Middletown, and Mildred Rousey of Moreland; and four grandchildren. Private services will be held in Soddy/Daisy. Born Feb. 28, 1911, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late G.B. and Annie Shockley Robinson. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, and its Fidelis Sunday school class. She was a graduate of Paint Lick High School. She was a member of a Homemaker's Club. Survivors include her husband, Ross Kelly; a son, Stanley B. Kelly of Mercer County; a daughter, Kelma Johnson of Danville; a brother, Travis Robinson of Paint Lick; two sisters, Lucille Kelly of Lexington and Evelyn Hester of Lancaster; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home. Born July 24, 1953, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Ernest A. and Katherine King. He was a truck driver for Eagle Transport Co. Survivors include two sons, Timothy S. Born March 19, 1918, in Viper, he was a son of the late George Matt and Eliza Combs Knuckles. He was the widower of Annabel Stephenson Knuckles. He taught high school English in Troy, Ohio, Orlando, Fla., and Louisville. After retiring, he served as a substitute teacher at Danville and Boyle County high schools until he was 80. He was a graduate of Union College and had attended Centre College where he played football and was a member of Beta Theta Pi. He served in the Army Air Force in Aleutian Islands during World War II where he earned the rank of technical sergeant. He was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church where he taught the Anglers Sunday school class. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Education Association, and Danville Kiwanis Club. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Franklin Lodge No. 14 in Troy, Ohio, and Kosair Shriners in Louisville. He was a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include a son, Vernon Vaughn Knuckles Jr. of Cincinnati; a daughter, Ann Kathleen Knuckles Barbour of Hanover, Ind.; and a sister, Juanita Pence of Cincinnati. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home. Born June 29, 1923, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late James I. and Nannie Belle Lawhorn Wilkerson. She was a homemaker, a licensed Church of God minister and had co-pastored at Mitchellsburg Church of God, Lancaster Church of God and Harrodsburg Church of God. She was a member of Burgin Church of God. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Arlis Luttrell; four daughters, Rose Stephens of Stanford, Lucinda Tanner of Bowling Green, Theresa Ballinger of Richmond and Dixie Luttrell of Harrodsburg; six sisters, Lucy Meeks of Greenwood, Ind., Grace Wren of Lancaster, Frances Southerland and Bertha Wren, both of Danville, and Betty Hiter of Stanford and Ruth Thompson of Dallas, Texas; four brothers, Virgil Wilkerson of Morgantown, Ind., Raymond Wilkerson of Danville, and Bobby Wilkerson and Fred Wilkerson of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She earned her masters degree in education at University to Kentucky, was a member of Business & Professional Women, Danville Garden Club and Democratic Women's Club. She was the widow of Arthur L. Robinson. Survivors include nieces and nephews including, Betty Teele and Helen Greene, both of Danville. Pallbearers will be great-nephews, Robert, Donnie, John, and David Young, Andrew and David Greene, Michael Harmon and David Bridges.
