McNeely, 49, of South Loop Drive, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Stanford Baptist Church by Max Hester. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. He died Thursday at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington. Born Oct. 16, 1952, in Terre Haute, Ind., he was a son of the late Fred Carl and Rosemary Carter McNeely. He was a former teacher at Lincoln County Middle School, attended Stanford Baptist Church, was a member of the United States Army Reserves and a member of Mended Hearts Association. He was also the videographer for the Lincoln County High School boys basketball team. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hays McNeely; a son, Jason McNeely of Stanford; two daughters, Stacie and Jessica McNeely, both of Stanford; two brothers, Billy McNeely of Martinsville, Ill., and Fred McNeely of Terre Haute; a sister, Sharron Ennen of Terre Haute; and a granddaughter. Family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is 1-2 p.m. today at the church. "Bill" Russell, 42, of Nichols Terrace will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Jeffries. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. He died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 28, 1959, in Providence, R.I., he was a son of the late Dormas and Ronnette Ernst Russell Sr. He was a former employee of R.R. Donnelley and Sons and Fred Cain Farm Equipment. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Angela Noel Russell; his stepmother, Janice Huffman of Danville; a daughter, Leslie Lay of Junction City; two sons, William R. Russell II of Prestonsburg and Christopher D. Russell of Danville; two sisters, Julie Daniloff of Plymouth, Mass., and Angie Peavler of Perryville; and a grandson. Pallbearers will be Joe, Randall and Robert Noel, Jeff Hixson, Don Stephens, Tim Crowe and Jimmy Quinn. Born Nov. 29, 1910, in Casey County, he was retired from the former Kentucky State Hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Survivors include his caregivers, Aline Cochran and John C. Davis, both of Danville. Pallbearers will be Bill Loran, John Davis, Don Wilson, Lawrence Hogue, Tom Carter and Al Hearn. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
