Born in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Beulah Roney Key. She was a registered nurse formerly employed at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique. She was a 1952 graduate of Danville High School and a 1955 graduate of Nazareth School of Nursing in Lexington. She was a member of Cooks Congregational Church, Women of the Moose 1665 of Manistique, and a Kentucky Colonel. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Danville and the widow of James M. Neadow. Survivors include two sons, Tim Neadow of Cooks, Mich., and Todd Neadow of Hally, Mich.; and three sisters, Irma Clancy of Lexington, Mazie Patterson and Ruth Brackett, both of Danville. Memorial services were held Thursday at Messier-Broullire Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert King. Odis Clark. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery. He died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Jan. 9, 1943, in Gravel Switch, he was the son of Anna Coyle Penn of Gravel Switch and the late Miles Penn. He was a retired teacher, having taught at Junction City Elementary, Boyle County Middle and Boyle County High schools. He most recently was employed by the University of Kentucky as a specialty products inspector and was a lifelong farmer in Forkland. Other survivors include his wife, Murline Wesley Penn; a daughter, Tiffany Penn Russell of Danville; two sons, Miles T. Penn of Lexington and Trenton B. Penn of Danville; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eli Miller, Whaley Lorenz, Billy Gorley, Dave Buckingham, Randy Douglas and Garland Vest. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Lanham, Dave Mason and UK regulatory service inspectors.
