Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery. She died Thursday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 18, 1910, in Crab Orchard, she was the daughter of the late George and Stella Wilson Hoskins. She was a homemaker and a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church and Crab Orchard Eastern Star. She was the widow of Roscoe Brock. Survivors include five daughters, Joyce Dollins of Crab Orchard, Connie Laswell, Iris Coleman and Susan Wyler, all of Lancaster, and Freda McGohon of Stanford; a sister, Lois Gordon of Danville; two brothers, Homer Hoskins and Howard Hoskins, both of Stanford; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Brown. Pallbearers will be Harold and Toney Dollins, Ralph and Scott Coleman, Bert McGohon and Paul Wyler. Honorary pallbearer will be Christian Wyler. Born Sept. 21, 1907 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas V. and Lula Nichols Warner. She was a retired teacher from Rose Hill and Harrodsburg schools. She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, a member of the Kentucky and the National Retired Teacher's Associations, and a member of the Christian Church. She served as an elder of First Christian Church of Venice, Fla. for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Dilzell of Wooster; a son, William M. Davis of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Virginia Baker of Lexington, Annell Claunch of Harrodsburg, and Agnes Adkinson of Fort Myers, Fla.; a brother, Stuart Warner of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Davis. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Chase. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Mr. And Mrs. Thomas RICHARDS of this city celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home, 917 West Laurel Street, Sherman, Aug. 9. There were present a large number of children, grandchildren and friends. Mr. And Mrs. RICHARDS were married at Richardsville, Warren County, Ky., Aug 9, 1866. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. RUDDLE, a Methodist preacher, and took place at the home of James YOUNG a pioneer of that section. Mrs. RICHARDS has been married twice and is the mother of fourteen children, eight of whom are living. Her maiden name was Emeline Greene MILLER, and she was first married to Matthew P. YOUNG. Mr. YOUNG joined the Federal Army at the outbreak of the war and fell, mortally wounded at the battle of Nashville. Thomas RICHARDS then a young man, belonged to the same company. In 1866 he married the widow of his friend and army mate. Mrs. RICHARDS is a native of Warren County, Kentucky. Mr. RICHARDS was born at Cambridgeshire England, forty miles from London, but has lived in America since he was 2 years old. He is 70 years of age and his wife is 72. There are forty-one grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren living, nearly all of whom were present at the golden wedding celebration. Mr. and Mrs. RICHARDS have lived in Sherman twenty-eight years and enjoy a wide acquaintance and many friends."
