AGED WOMAN DEAD AT WHITE STONE QUARRY Mrs. Priscilla CRABB, aged 71 years, one of the county’s best and most respected citizens, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belle MASON, at the White Stone Quarry. Her death was due to La Grippe. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 o’clock Tuesday, and the burial will be at the STILL graveyard. The deceased had resided in Warren County all her life. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Methodist Church. Born March 28, 1922, in Washington County she was the daughter of the late James R. "Jack" Reed and Grace Shehan Reed. She was the widow of Robert P. Coldiron Jr. She was retired from Kentucky State Hospital, Danville Youth Develop- ment Center and Northpoint Training Center. Survivors include a son, Frank H. Edelen Jr. of Lakeside Park and a brother, James H. Reed of Louisville. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Washington County by Jimmy Lehman. Cotton, 88, of Cave Spring Drive died Saturday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. Born June 3, 1913, in Garrard County he was the son of the late Ira and Susie Long Cotton. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Ross Cotton; a son, David Cotton of Nicholasville; a daughter, Judith Ann Clark of Atlanta; a brother, Ralph Cotton of Lancaster, five grandchildren and eight great-grand- children. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Jeffries. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Born May 4, 1908, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Ella Mae Leathers Trisler. She was a homemaker, a member of Dry Branch Baptist Church, the Mercer County Chorus and a lifetime member of the Homemakers Club. She was the widow of Walker Buchanan. Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Anness of Harrodsburg, Nancy Baker of Lawrenceburg, and Janet Thacker of Burgin; two sons, George Buchanan and William Buchanan, both of Harrodsburg; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granchild. Pallbearers will be Paul Horne, Glenn Lake, Perry Buchanan, Cecil Buchanan, Steve Horn, Bob Hronek and Jeremy Thacker. Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Mackville Baptist Church, a member of the Kentucky Education Association and Kentucky Retired Teachers Organization in Washington County. She was the widow of George W. "Billy" Keeling. Survivors include two aunts, Edna Begley of Lexington and Virgie Isham of Indiana. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Carey & Son Funeral Home by the Rev. David Gifford. Burial will be in Peter Cemetery. Visitation wil be 9 a.m. Saturday until service time. DEATH CLAIMS MRS. CATHARINE YOUNG Mrs. Catharine YOUNG, aged 70, died at her home near Young’s Ferry at 1:20 o’clock this morning, after a lingering illness. Her death was due to a stroke of paralysis received four years ago. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. John RICHARDS at 3 o’clock this afternoon from the residence, and the interment followed in the CHILDRESS grave yard. DEATH OF WELL-KNOWN WOMAN OF ANNA Mrs. Anna Eliza YOUNG, aged 72, died at her home near Anna, this county, yesterday, of cholera morbus, after a short illness. The funeral services took place this morning at 11 o’clock from the Mt. Pleasant Church and the burial followed in the church yard. The deceased was a good Christian woman and a member of the Christian church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elzie GARRETT, AND Mrs. Henry GARRET (sic), and four sons, J. B. PREWITT, T. H.
