Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. She died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born March 6, 1921, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Rusha Lee Bottoms Tyler. She was a member of Ellers Memorial Church, a retired Cricketeer employee, and was a care-giver for the elderly for several years. She was the widow of Kenneth Hourigan. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn H. Brown of Louisville; a brother, Donald Tyler of Mercer County; two sisters, Mary K. Devine of Harrodsburg and Bettie M. Murphy of Lexington; two grandchildren; and a great- grandson.
