Bob Jones. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with military rites. He died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 15, 1940, in Glen Dean, he was the son of Eva Lewis Sims of Harrodsburg and the late Morris Eskridge. He was a millwright for International Harvester in Louisville and also had worked for Famco in Louisville and Baker Perkins Inc. in Saginaw, Mich. He was a member of the American Legion and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Other survivors include his stepfather, Dewitt Sims of Harrodsburg; stepmother, Dorothy Conder of Breckinridge County; a stepson, Charles Pasafume of Louisville; a stepbrother, Kenneth Eskridge of Breckinridge County; a sister, Charlolette St. Clair of Lake City, Fla.; and two stepsisters, Brenda Eskridge and Cathy Mattingly, both of Breckinridge County. Born March 20, 1944, in Bowling Green, she was the daughter of the late Doc W. and Media Addaline Embry Hampton. She was an interpreter for the Kentucky School for the Deaf and a member of the Kentucky Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, KSD Booster Club and the KSD Parent-Teacher Cottage Association. She belonged to Willow Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Lee Farris; a daughter, Lisa Ducker of Danville; a son, Richard Farris of Danville; and a grand- daughter. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Willow Grove Baptist Church by the Revs. David Fralix, Dale Denton, Kevin Kruetzer and Eddie Johnson. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Born May 13, 1910 in Lee County, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah Carpenter Faulkner. He was a logger and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Stamper Faulkner; two sons, Logan Faulkner Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, and Ron Faulkner of Trenton, Mo.; five daughters, Fern Randolph and Linda Herring, both of Stanford, Mary Damron of East Bernstadt, Lillian Yeagerand Sandra Cox, both of Versailles; a brother, Thomas Faulkner of Clay City; three sisters, Pearl Stamper of Beattyville, Betty Borchers of North Carolina, and Mary Carroll of Richmond, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three daughters, Virginia Drake, Lorene Spencer and Peggy Waddell; and two sons, Ralph and Frank Faulkner. Born Jan. 3, 1917, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Marshall G. and Lula Mae Wade Carter. She was an elementary school teacher, having taught at SS Peter and Paul Catholic School, Junction City and Elk Cave elementary schools, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Guild at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, a graduate of Moreland High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She also was a member of the Democratic Women's Club and the widow of August Feistritzer. Survivors include three sons, Drew and Paul Feistritzer, both of Danville, and Richard Feistritzer of Brentwood, Tenn.; four daughters, Emily Feistritzer of Washington, D.C., Helen Milburn of Danville, and Kathy Feistritzer and Donna Hudson, both of Louisville; a sister, Lucille Almond of Charlottesville, Va.; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Born Feb. 19, 1923, in Hubble, he was the widower of Ann Pearce Walters Frye. He was a mechanical engineer having served in the Army Corps of Engineers as a first lieutenant during World War II. He was an employee of Libbey Glass in Toledo, Ohio, before retiring to Green Valley, Ariz. Survivors include three daughters, Jane McPherson of Kingston, Tenn., Betsy Kimbrough of Columbus, Ind., and Pat Mount of Tucson; six grand- children; and three great-grandchildren. Harris, 88, of Lexington, formerly of Danville, died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital. Born March 16, 1914, in Mackville, she was the daughter of the late Sweeney and Ethel Brown. She was a retired Kentucky School for the Deaf teacher. She was a member of St. James AME Church in Danville for 70 years and held various offices including trustee, superintendent and Sunday School teacher. She also was a member and treasurer of the church choir, a member of the missionary board, secretary/treasurer of the Benevolent Society and secretary of Willing Workers Club. She was a delegate to the AME conference many times. She also was a member of the Busy Sunshine Club, Order of the Eastern Star, White Rose Club and the Domestic Economy Club. She was the widow of Herbert L. Harris. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. James AME Church. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the church. Smith & Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
