"Mr. Neal Haley of Allen County died at the home of his son, Mr. Claude Haley in Scottsville Monday night at the age of about 80 years. He was a former citizen of Barren county. He leaves three children: Mesrs Claude and Jessie Haley of Scottsville and Mrs. Tank Elmore of Haywood. His wife who was a sister of Mrs. Ben Everett of South Fork died a number of years ago and he was a brother of Mrs. Jim Reaves of South Fork. Mr. Haley was a most excellent citizen. The remains were interred in the Reaves burying ground at South Fork. Unknown Glasgow (KY) newspaper, from the files of the late Eva Coe Peden.
