RECORDS: Shirley Ruth Marcum Curry Obituary, Larue County, 2002 ------------------------------- Submitted by: Sherri Hall Date: 24 June 2002 ------------------------------- From the News-Enterprise, Sunday, May 26, 2002 Shirley Ruth Marcum Curry, 67, of Hodgenville, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a former employee of Lawson's Cabinets in Hodgenville and a member of Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church in Hart County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysess and Thelma Angeline Dennis Marcum; a brother, John Marcum; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Marcum; and a step-grandchild. Survivors include her husband, Orval Junior Curry; two sons, John E. Curry of Hodgenville and Terry L. Curry of Stanford; a sister, Nancy S. Stanberry of Mason City, ILL; a brother, Wesley E. Marcum of Greenview, ILL; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. The funeral is 11 am Monday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will take place in Mt.
