George Robert Locke, 75, of Magnolia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, October 26, 
1982, at Veterans Medical Center, Louisville.
 
He was a member of Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church, and was a veteran of 
WW II.
 
Survivors include his wife, Marie Price Locke; five sons, Clarence Locke of 
Elizabethtown, Roy G. Locke of Elizabethtown, Ray M. Locke of Magnolia, 
Frances M. Locke of Magnolia, John R. Locke of Louisville; one daughter, Mary 
Ella Simpson of Cloverport, Kentucky; four brothers, Larry Locke, Harold 
Locke, and Emmett Locke, all of Magnolia, and Ralph Locke of Louisville; two 
sisters, Susan Huff of Magnolia, and Mary M. Gilpin of Louisville; and five 
grandchildren.
 
The funeral was held Friday, October 29, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home, with 
Harlan Murray and Bruce Chelf officiating.  Burial was at Red Hill Cemetery.
 
Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home made the arrangements.
