It is on Jack's Branch Road (and Island Creek Road???) above Big Goose Creek. It is off of US Route 421 between Burning Springs (and Oneida) and Manchester. Pin Hook intersects at the Jack's Branch School. The old Jones farm was on the right past the school and up the hill opposite the Steve Campbell Farm and behind Bernice Treadway's house. The Jack's Branch Cemetery is also on the right close to the road. These 4 headstones are still there and readable: Martha Hounchell Jones (15 September 1851- 7July 1907) George Washington Jones ( 2 September 1872- 7 February 1897) Francis M. Jones "25 Co. U.S. Coast Artillery" (no dates) Thomas J. Jones ( 26 May 1886-31 January 1911) There is some evidence of one other marker that cannot be read, and there is no doubt that others are buried on this site. This property was owned jointly by Steve Campbell and Herman Lewis 20 years ago. We hope to find someone who will dig post holes and fence in the little cemetery so that no further destruction will take place. If you know of anyone who could do this, please let me know. ********* ********* ********* ********* Other members of this Jones family are buried in the Mt.
