This is my grandfather, James Henry McHargue, son of Ephraim Leander and 
Elizabeth (Sasser)McHargue. He was in the Mounted Service  White Calvary. He 
enlisted in Middlesboro KY in 1905 after his grandfather James (Buttons) 
McHargue passed in 1904. He was in the Army until 1908. After his enlistment 
was up he went to Illinois where he worked in the coal mines there.
