And calling to mind the uncertainty of human life, and being anxious to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give to my daughter Angelina Hackney, the sum of one dollar, 2nd, I desire that all my live stock of every kind together with my house hold and kitchen furniture, and farming untensils be immediatly sold after my decease and out of the money ariseing there from all my just debts, funeral expences and then one dollar give unto my daughter, Angelina Hackney to be paid 3rd, After the payment of my just debts, funeral expences and the one dollar aforesaid, I give my Grandchildren James F. Evans and Susanna Evans one fifth part of my estate jointly, to be divided equally between them. But should either of them die before they arrive at the age when they could legally dispose of their estate, I will that the other have the whole amount and should they both die before that time the same to be equally divided amongst my three children, James W. Barnett, Wm. S. Barnett, and Flora Jane Barnett 4th, all the rest of my estate both real and personal of what nature or kind soever it may be, I desire may be equally divided among my said three children James H. Barnett, William S. Barnett, and Flora Jane Barnett which I give to them, their heirs, and assigns forever, And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend James S. Slaughter, Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 9th day of July 1859 Susanna X Barnett (seal) her mark Signed, sealed, published, and delivered as for the last will and testament of Susanna Barnett in the presence of us , John H. Slaughter, Susan J.M. Pitman Laurel County Court March term 1860 A writting purporting to be the last will and testament of Susanna Barnett was produced in court and proved by the oath of John H. Slaughter one of the subscribing witness thereto and also the signature and attestation of Susanna J. Pitman the other subscribing witness to said writting was proven by said Slaughter and as motion of John Hazelwood, Attorney, for R. Hackney and wife the further consideration of said will is postponed until tomorrow. Ordered that Court adjourn until tomorrow N.B. Jones Tuesday morning 13th March 1860 court met pursuant to adjournment, same Judge as on yesterday. No futher ordinance being offered in regard to the last will and testament of Susanna Barnett dec'd it is ordered that said will be admitted to record to which opinion of the court R.
