VA., April 10, 1959: William Gibson - Seventy-one years old, of Louisa Ky., died Wednesday at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. tomorrow at the Young Funeral Home at Louisa by the Rev. William W. Moore. Burial will be in the Cox Cemetery. Mr. Gibson, a retired coal miner, was born February 16, 1888, on Louisa Route 1, son of the late James and Mary Moore Gibson. Survivors included the widow, Mrs. Frances Cox; two daughters, Mrs. Edgel Blackburn of Weeksbury, Ky., and Mrs. Rudolph Preece of Louisa; three sons, Raymond Gibson of Wheelwright, Charles Gibson of Dayton, OH, and Claude Gibson of Holden; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Hughes of Prestonburg and Mrs. Julius York of Louisa, two brothers, John B. Gibson of Prestonsburg and Mont Gibson of Prestonsburg, and 16 grandchildren.
