June 12, 1993 Marilyn Garrett, 68, of 215 S. Keats Ave., died there Thursday. She was the former Marilyn Hartley, a native of New Albany, Ind., and a member of Crescent Hill United Methodist Church. Survivors: her husband, Marshall W. Garrett; a son, Harold Garrett of Jeffersonville, Ind.; a daughter, JoAnn Reuter of Greenwood, Ind.; two sisters, Jane Boren and Grace Dean, both of New Albany; and five grandchildren. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Arch L. Heady Crescent Hill Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Burial: Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. Visitation: 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday. Emma Faye Hillyer-Courtney, 43, of 4600 W. Broadway, died Friday at Baptist Hospital East after an illness. She was a native of Columbus, Ga., a nurses' assistant, a former employee of the city of Louisville and a member of Christian Faith Tabernacle Church. Survivors: her husband, James Courtney; her mother, Mary Louise Hillyer; her father, Clifton Hillyer Sr. of Bay City, Texas; a sister, Marilyn Smith; and a brother, Clifton Hillyer Jr. Memorial service: 7 p.m. Sunday, Perryman's Mortuary, 3237 W. Broadway. Cremation to follow. Visitation: noon-7 p.m. Sunday. Visitation for Sherman William Holloway, 65, of 1629 S. 28th St., has been changed to 9-11 a.m. Monday, W. P.
