 Mary Jane Sherman, 75, of Reston, Va., died there Sunday.
She was the former Mary Jane Hazelip; a native of Louisville; a former
employee of the Courier-Journal and Louisville Times Co. and the Louisville
Free Public Library; an amateur actor; and a former volunteer for a
telephone hot line for Englishspeaking travelers in Tokyo.
Survivors: her husband, William Sherman; a daughter, Courtney Simon; and
sons John and Woodson Sherman.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. April 17, Unitarian Universalist Church, Reston.
Arrangements: Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Va.
