He had been in failing health for a number of years. Deceased was born at Dennis, this county in 1869, a son of James and Lydia Burton Kitchen. He had resided at Blaine the past 57 years and worked for a number of years in the Blaine oil fields as a mechanical engineer. He was a member of the Blaine Christian church. Funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the Blaine Christian Church and interment was made in the family cemetery near Blaine under direction of the Curtright Funeral Home. Mr. Kitchen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie Spencer Kitchen, one son, Milton Kitchen, of Blaine, 2 sisters, Mrs. Rachel Chaffin, of Blaine, and Mrs. Henry Kee of Gilboa, OH, and 3 brothers, James Kitchen, Blaine, William Kitchen, Ashville, OH and Andrew Kitchen, Birmingham, AL.
