MEEKS, William Samuel

William Samuel Meeks, 40, of Richardson, steam shovel operator for the Hunt 
Forbes Construction Company, died in a Louisa hospital Tuesday evening after a 
week’s illness. Funeral was conducted Thursday afternoon at 1 from the home of 
his father-in-law, Jeff Davis at Naugatuck, WV and interment will be made there. 
Deceased was a native of Virginia and had resided for ?? years at Richardson in 
this county. Until becoming ill a week ago he was employed by the Hunt Forbes 
Construction Company at Silver Grove, KY. He was (next few words unreadable) 
member of the Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie 
Davis Meeks, 2 daughters Misses Anna and Ada at home and 5 sons, W.S. Jr.,
