Moore, 78, of Fallsburg, KY, Louisa Route 4, died Sunday morning at his home. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Young Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Jordan and the Rev. Fred Vanhorn officiating. Interment was in the Harmon Cemetery on Louisa Route 4. born June 22, 1884, at Fallsburg, he was a son of the late Freelin and Nancy Sperry Moore. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Georgia Belle Peterman Moore; four daughters, Mrs. Sam O'Bryan of Columbus, OH, Mrs. Ray Justice of Louisa, Route 4, Mrs. Ted Wicker of Naples, KY and Mrs. Lonnie Spillman of Fallsburg; four sons, Oakley Moore, of Catlettsburg, Mart Moore of Catlettsburg, Route 1, and Ezra Moore of Louisa Route 4, and Roy Moore of Springfield, OH; the stepmother, Mrs. Mary Moore of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Virgie Stephens of Catlettsburg and Mrs. Margaret Queen of Pikeville, KY; a brother, Freelin Moore of Seaman, OH; and 38 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
