A. Funeral services for T. A. Salmons, 78, of Webb, route 1, near Clifford will be held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. C. C. Preece, the Rev. F. D. Kirk and Rev. Albert Elkins. Mr. Salmons died Monday, December 23, at 7 a.m. at his home following an illness of three weeks. A member of the United Baptist church for 65 years. He was a son of Jerry and Elizabeth Hammonds Salmons. Prior to taking up residence near Clifford, he had lived 23 years at Kermit, WV. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Frankie Marcum Salmons; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Elkins, Kenova, and Mrs. Jess Shields of North Platte, NB; three sons, Zat, Phil and Clyde Salmons, all of route 1 Webb; four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Ward of Beauty, KY, Mrs. Mary Lynch, North Platte, NB; Mrs. George Bowen, route 1, Webb, Mrs. Della Martin, Columbus, OH, four brothers, Lindsey Salmons, Ray, OH, Bill Salmons, Omar, WV, Pierce and Jim Salmons, route 1, Webb. Burial will be under the direction of Curtright Funeral Home of Louisa.
