SHORT, Clem

1871-1951

Clem Short, 79, of route 3, Louisa, died at the home Sunday at 6:30 a.m. Funeral 
services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home by the Rev. J. C. 
Hager. Burial was in the family cemetery. Mr. Short, a retired farmer, was a 
lifelong resident of the Louisa section. He was born November 15, 1871, a son of 
James and Patricia Loutisha Harmon Short. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. 
Thomas Hayes and Mrs. Loutisha Marcum of Louisa, Mrs. Martha Ball of route 4, 
Louisa, and Mrs. Emma Rice, route 3, Louisa and one brother, Jack Short, route 
4, Louisa. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Young Funeral Home.
