J. T. Spencer of route 1, Fort Gay, WV, died in a Louisa hospital at 8 a.m. Sunday. The daughter of Mrs. Mollie Berry and the late Buchanan Berry, she was born at Adams, KY. She was married in 1912. She had been a member of the Baptist Church since early childhood. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Big Hurricane Baptist Church. Burial was made in the Christian Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. Gentry Belcher of Prichard, WV and Miss Audrey Spencer, at home; 1 stepdaughter, Mrs. Helen Coburn of Long Island, MY; 2 sons, John T. Spencer, Jr. and Leslie Spencer, both at home, her mother, Mrs. Mollie Berry, Fort Gay, route 1, and 1 brother, Hubert of Monaville, WV.
