She formerly lived at Wilbur, KY. She was born at Charley, KY, June 13, 1869. She was 83 years and 18 days old and the widow of Joseph Travis, who passed away in 1937. A daughter of the late George and Delila Moore Pack. She was a member of the United Baptist Church for 45 years. Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at the Curtright Funeral Home with the Rev. Gallie Isaac, officiating. Interment was made in the C. C. Hayes Cemetery at Mattie, KY. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bert Childers, Route 1, Louisa, Mrs. Charles Eversole of Plain City, OH, Mrs. S. M. Bayes of Ashland, three sons, Millard Travis, Dayton, OH, Dewey Travis, Rosedale, OH, and Ora Travis, South Charleston, OH; 29 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
