Webb, 90, a Webbville merchant and blacksmith, died Tuesday, June 4, at 9:25 p.m. at the home of a daughter-in-law, Mrs. M. G. Webb, after having suffered a stroke Saturday night, June 1. He was born August 10, 1866, at Webbville, a son of the late Levi and Mary Riffe Webb. He was a member of the Willard Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Wells Webb; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Webb of New Vienna, OH, Mrs. Lloyd Jordan of Louisa, route 4, and Mrs. John Radcliff of Jeriel, KY; five sons, T. T. Webb of Webbville, Clyde Webb of Sunbury, OH, Dewey Webb of Columbus, OH, Hillard Webb of Hillsboro, OH, and Hillman Webb of Wilmington, OH; 24 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, M. G. Webb. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 6, at 2 p.m. at the Brammer Gap Church by the Rev. Fred Vanhorn, assisted by the Rev. Gallie Isaac. Burial was made in the Webb family cemetery at Webbville and member of the Willard Masonic Lodge conducting graveside rites. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Young Funeral Home.
