Webb, 82, of Dennis, KY, died in a Louisa hospital Monday after an illness of a year. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Young Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gallie Isaac officiating, and burial was in Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland. Her husband, Andy J. Webb, died a week ago. She was born at Dennis on April 27, 1880, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kitchen, and was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Grover Williamson of Fort Mitchell, KY, and Mrs. Manley Adams, of Ashland; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Roy Hayes of Cleveland; a son, J. B. Webb of Cincinnati, six sisters, Mrs. Alice Massie of Catlettsburg, Mrs. Samantha Thomas of Dry Branch, WV, Mrs. Myrtle Chaffins of Louisa, route 3, Mrs. Shirley Spillman of Webbville, Mrs. Martha Hines of Lancaster, OH, and Mrs. Anna Adams of Ashland; and eight brothers, German Kitchen of Catlettsburg, Arthur, Dewey and Lincoln Kitchen of Louisa Star Route, Harrison Kitchen of Chapmanville, WV, Jake Kitchen, Turkey Creek, KY, John Kitchen of Louisa, Route 4, and Luke Kitchen of Detroit. Her stepmother, Mrs. Stella Kitchen, Webbville, also survives. Big Sandy News, January 24, 1963 Obituary of Husband Andy Webb WEBB, Andy J. 1875-1963 Andy J. Webb, 87. Dennis, KY, died Friday, January 11, in a Louisa hospital. He was born September 3, 1875, at Dennis, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Webb and was a member of the Methodist Church and a former member of the Lawrence County Board of Education. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellen Kitchen Webb; three daughters, Mrs. Manley Adams, Ashland, and Mrs. Grover Williamson of Fort Mitchell, KY and Mrs. Roy Hayes of Cleveland; one son, J. B. Webb, Cincinnati; four half sisters, Mrs. Cora Thompson and Mrs. Belle Webb, of Ashland, Mrs. Martha Compton, Louisville, Mrs. Hattie Neal, Dennis; two half brothers, Cyrus Webb of Ohio, and Lafe Webb, Cincinnati; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from the Young Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gallie Isaac officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashland.
