OBIT: Gibson, Will, 1996 - Leslie Co & IN Submitted by: "Diana Flynn" TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, LAWRENCE CO., INDIANA GIBSON RICE WYNN BLEVINS FREDERICK OSBORNE MARROW Will Gibson April 30, 1925-June 15, 1996 SALEM -- Will Gibson, 71, Salem, died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday at Washington County Memorial Hospital, Salem. Born in Confluence, Ky., he was the son of Henry and Martha (Rice) Gibson. He married Norma Jean Wynn April 11, 1953 and she survives. He was a World War II Army veteran, retired in 1986 from Housewoods Inc., and was a former employee of the Washington County Highway Department. He was a member of the Salem Senior Citizens and The Fifty Plus Club. Surviving with his wife are three sons: Henry Gibson of Salem, Eddie Gibson of Bethel, Ohio, and Bill Gibson of Vallonia; two daughters: Pauline Blevins and Rowena Frederick, both of Salem; two stepsons: Bradley Wynn and Troy Wynn, both of Salem; three brothers: Rex Gibson and Asher Gibson, both of Salem and John S. Gibson of Hyden, Ky.; one sister, Alta Osborne of Salem; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cathylyn Marrow; his parents, two brothers and four half brothers. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, Salem, with Bro. Robert Holler officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery,Salem.
