Mr. Henderson Whisman
Waltz, KY


My Dear Sir,
   Your favor of the 9th received.  Would say in reply: 
That a report from the war department states that you were mustered out of the 
service
October 20th 1862. which report brings you within the provision of the 
Confederate union law and your name was placed on the pension roll Dec. 6th 
1924 with pension certificate enclosed. You will receive your first voucher 
about the 16th of this month for $67.00 which pays you up to May 1st 1925.
