Wilbur D. Dillow, 86, of Fairlane Drive in Vanceburg died unexpectedly Sunday, March 1, 2009, at his home.  
Born October 11, 1922, in Vanceburg to the late Jacob and Grace Lee Martin Dillow, he had worked for US Shoe 
Corporation and L.V. Marks Shoe Factory in Vanceburg.  Survivors include his wife, Bettye Burriss Dillow; two 
sons, Roger Dillow of Vanceburg and Wilbur F. Dillow of North Robinson, Ohio; one sister, Ramona Nute of Mt. 
Pleasant, South Carolina; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, 
George Garland Dillow; one sister, Grace Eloise Howell; and four brothers, Elwood Dillow, George Dillow, Maurice 
Dillow and Kenneth Martin Dillow.  Services were at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Gaydos Funeral Home 
in Vanceburg with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery at Vanceburg.
