First: I bequeth unto my wife POLLY THOMPSON the place I now live on and occupy being part of the Ewels claim unto her for her own proper use and all the benefits arising there from to have the sole --- of disposing of it as she may think proper for the support of raising her family. I also bequeth to my wife POLLY THOMPSON all of the personal and moveable property belonging to the premises at her own disposal for the purpose of keeping the family and schooling them and to give to each of the children out of the increase of personal property a bed and bedding, a saddle to each and a cow and such other things as necessary as is needful and to give to each one of the boys as good a horse as possible or as the remainder of the property will admit. I also bequeath unto my daughter BETSY THOMPSON that little blaze mare or one as good. I also bequeath my two sons ANDREW H. THOMPSON and WILLIAM P. THOMPSON all that track or parcel of land being on the waters Kennecheneck being part of Kenkaiels entry containing 770 acres of land unto them and their heirs for their own proper use, but if my wife thinks that the incomes of the place which herein is willed to her is not sufficient to make up the wants that is necessaary in the above will written she may draw a third of what is raised to help her support the family that is of track of land which is bequeath to Andrew and William which has now two leases upon and that the said Andrew and William my sons is to help their mother to get ABIGAIL and JANE THOMPSON a horse worth 50 dollars one of them, making restitution for the land willed to Andrew and William Thompson. I also bequeath unto JAMES THOMPSON and JOHN B. THOMPSON, my sons three hundred acres of land on the Indian Fork of the Kennechenick creek being part of Baren and Doyier Entry or their own proper use and to their heirs and that the said James and John Thompson is to MARY THOMSON a good woman's saddle and a horse worth fifty dollars to paid when of age in --- Here I unchangeably set my hand and seal this second day of September, 1826.
