TOMBSTONE INFORMATION

The cemetery is located approximately 5.5 miles from Stanford on Highway 150 
East.  Turn right at Walnut Flat Creek Road, and go approximately 1/10 of a 
mile.  Cemetery is located on the left.located on the left.

Baby tombstone-(Sunken) Can't read.

In memory of 
James DAVIS
Who died the 19th March 1816
Aged 80 years

In memory of 
Mary 
Who died 29th Sept. 1816
Aged 36 years
(After doing research at the Harvey Helm Library in Lincoln County, I believe 
this to be Mary Davis Sprowl.  She was a daughter of James and married Oliver 
Sprowl. They lived next to James Davis and she died at a relatively early age.  
The research states that Oliver went back to Virginia after her death, so it 
would make sense that this is who is buried there.  Her last name is unreadable 
on the tombstone.)
