LIBERTY -- Services for Clyde Allen, 87, of Caney Fork Road will be 
2 p.m. Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home by Bearl King. Burial will be 
in Glenwood Cemetery.

He died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born June 5, 1915, in Liberty, he was the son of the late John E. and 
Ora Tapscott Allen. He was a farmer and the widower of Mary Cox Allen.

Survivors include five sons, Shelby Allen of Crocker, Mo., Garry 
Allen of Nineva, Ind., Glen Allen of Frankfort, Ind., Don Allen of 
Franklin, Ind., and Evan Allen of Liberty; two daughters, Shelia 
Hudson of Dunnville and Charlotte Haggard of Fairborne, Ind.; 19 
grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Sherrill Allen; and two grand-
children.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today.
