MORELAND -- Gussie Hall Cloyd, 79, of Nashville, Tenn., died Sunday 
at her home.

Born Jan. 22, 1923, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the 
late Nathan and Sarah Ann Hall.

She worked for Standard Publishing Co., a religious publishing company 
in Cincinnati. She was the widow of Paul C. Cloyd.

Survivors include a daughter, Carole C. Garrett of Nashville, Tenn.; 
a brother, A.W. Hall of Smithville, Tenn.; three sisters, Fannie 
Barbati of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Elizabeth Edrington of Nashville, 

Tenn., and Zora Haumesser of Tampa, Fla.; three grandsons; and five 
great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Ernest Martin.

Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Nashville 
and noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.
