C.B. Carman. Burial will be in Delk Cemetery. She died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 9, 1933, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ersel Singleton Sowers. She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ray V. Delk; six sons, Gary R. Delk of Ontario, Calif., David A. Delk, Burl Ivan Delk, Julian Neal Delk and Kevin A. Delk, all of Indianapolis, and Wesley E. Delk of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Donna Deckmann and Velda Foster, both of Jeffersontown; a brother, Earl Sowers of Taylorsville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
