Born May 13, 1910 in Lee County, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah Carpenter Faulkner. He was a logger and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Stamper Faulkner; two sons, Logan Faulkner Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, and Ron Faulkner of Trenton, Mo.; five daughters, Fern Randolph and Linda Herring, both of Stanford, Mary Damron of East Bernstadt, Lillian Yeagerand Sandra Cox, both of Versailles; a brother, Thomas Faulkner of Clay City; three sisters, Pearl Stamper of Beattyville, Betty Borchers of North Carolina, and Mary Carroll of Richmond, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three daughters, Virginia Drake, Lorene Spencer and Peggy Waddell; and two sons, Ralph and Frank Faulkner. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Samuel Faulkner. Samuel Faulkner. He died Wednesday at his home.
