Adams Godbey, 93, of Miller Street will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stanford First Church of God by Paul Bastin. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. She died Saturday at Fort Logan Hospital. Born June 5, 1909, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Easter Peck Trent. She was a homemaker, member of Stanford First Church of God and a Kentucky Colonel. She was the widow of Charlie Adams and Vernon Godbey. Survivors include two daughters, Edith Tarter of Batavia, Ohio, and Geneva Brier of Lebanon, Ohio; a son, Charles Adams of Melbourne; a sister, Myrtle Dyehouse of Stanford; six grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Stinnett.
