From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 28 Apr 2003 CRAB ORCHARD -- Grace Lawson Garner, 70, of Holly Lane, formerly of Brenham, Texas, died Saturday at Fort Logan Hospital. Born May 18, 1932, in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Brent and Mossie Hinkle. She was a homemaker and belonged to Marion Baptist Temple in Marion, Ind. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Gardner; a son, Pete Garner of Brenham; a daughter, Drenda Moerbe of Brenham; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McKnight Funeral Home by the Rev. Morris Trayner. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
