From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 2 Apr 2003 CAMP NELSON -- James D. Hansford, 45, of Magnolia, Texas, formerly of Lincoln County, died March 26 in Texas. He was the son of Frances L. Hansford of Houston, Texas, and the late Marshall Hansford. He was a 1975 graduate of Lincoln County High School and a graduate of Jan Jacinto College in Houston. He was an employee of PPI Technology Services. He was an Army veteran and a member of Stanford Baptist Church. Other survivors include his wife, Debbie P. Hansford; a son, Michael Hansford of Houston; two daughters, Tyra Miracle of Lexington and Ashley Hansford of Houston; a sister, Sallie H. Cantu of Houston; a brother, Gabe L. Hansford of Houston; and two grandchildren. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County.
